STAMFORD -- Because of continued "hazardous conditions" in the city following heavy rains and winds this past weekend, all Stamford Public Schools will remain closed Friday, according to the schools' Web site, stamfordpublicschools.org.

Stamford schools were also closed Monday through Thursday following the storm, which downed trees and power lines and caused power outages all over the city.

City schools are expected to open on time Monday, March 22, according to the Stamford Public Schools Web site.
