David Fogel, a Westhill grad, is a sophomore at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and was selected as the National Club Baseball Association Division II Pitcher of the Week recently. Fogel pitched a complete game three-hitter and led Emory University to its first victory of the season over Division I opponent University of Tennessee. Against Tennessee, he allowed only one run on three hits with three walks and four strikeouts. Fogel was the starting left fielder for the Westhill baseball team that went on to win the state championship in 2008.
