Used Book Shops The Friends of Ferguson Library Used Book Shops are a great place to pick up summer reading for the kids. The book shops have titles from the Stamford schools' summer reading lists, classics, award winners, and staff favorites. Most books are priced between 50 cents and $2. and all purchases benefit Library collections and programming. While you're shopping for your kids, don't forget that they also have great books for adults, newer releases as well as old favorites. The selection changes daily. Stop in and take a look. The book shops are located at the Main Library downtown and Harry Bennett Branch on Vine Road. Check http://www.friendsoffergusonlibrary.org for hours. Children's programs Get in the mood for Thanksgiving and other fall fun at The Ferguson Library. All programs are generously supported by the Friends of Ferguson. For more information call 351-8243. Children's Author/Illustrator Mo Willems -- Jeanne Rinehart Family Lecture -- Saturday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. Acclaimed children's author and illustrator Mo Willems talks about his work. Grades K and up.
