Buffalo Wild Wings opens April 18 in Stamford

Staff Reports

STAMFORD -- Buffalo Wild Wings, a sports bar that offers chicken wings with 14 sauces, is opening its newest location at 208 Summer Street in Stamford on Saturday, April 18.

To mark the occasion, the restaurant will be offering free wings for a year to the first 100 guests in line for the restaurant's 11 a.m. opening. Each recipient of the "Free Wings for a Year" giveaway will receive a coupon book with 52 vouchers for six free wings -- one order for every week of the year.

The Stamford Buffalo Wild Wings features big screens and wall-to-wall HD TVs.

"We are very excited to be bringing the Buffalo Wild Wings experience to downtown Stamford," James Bitzonis, a Stamford native and president of Four M Capital (franchisee for the brand), said. "We are looking forward to becoming part of the community and to be offering employment opportunities to local residents. Stamford is a tremendous sports town and sports fans of all ages are going to love Buffalo Wild Wings."
