By STEVE KOBAK skobak@thestamfordtimes.com NORWALK -- A Stamford woman was allegedly robbed at knife point near the exit at the Roodner Court public housing complex by a man wearing a ski mask Wednesday night, police said. The 26-year-old woman was walking on Ely Avenue at approximately 11:37 p.m. when a vehicle pulled out of Roodner Court. A man wearing black clothing and a ski mask allegedly stepped out of the vehicle and demanded the woman's purse, according to police. The suspect allegedly threatened to hurt the woman, and the woman willingly handed over her purse, according to police. The woman told police she did not want to put up a fight because she had recently given birth, police said. After the robbery, the car sped north on Ely Avenue towards Knapp Street, according to police. The stolen purse contained under $500, unspecified medications and personal possessions, police said. A make and model of the vehicle was unavailable. Police are investigating the incident.
