Pavia announces plan to run for mayor

By CHASE WRIGHT cwright@thestamfordtimes.com STAMFORD --Building developer and former city legislator Michael Pavia has officially filed an exploratory committee to run for mayor of Stamford, according to the Town Clerk Donna Loglisci. Pavia filed for an exploratory committee with the Town Clerk's Office this morning, said Republican Town Committee Chairman Chris Munger. The exploratory committee will give Pavia an opportunity to test the waters, raise money and see where the concerns of the citizens lie, said Munger.
