Special Events
On Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 7p.m., author Marie Bostwick will visit the Ferguson Library. She will talk about her new book, "On Wings of the Morning," a WWII romance about two soulmates who share a love of flying. Marie is an award winning author of three historical fiction novels, Fields of Gold, River's Edge and On Wings of the Morning. Her next novel is scheduled to be published at the end of 2008. The program will be held at the Main Library. Book sale and signing to follow.
Join a new French book discussion group at The Ferguson Library, which will read contemporary French and francophone literature and discuss it in French. The group will meet the last Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Main Library third floor conference room. The Friends of Ferguson Library will hold its monthly Collectible Sale in the lobby of the Main Library Friday, January 4 Sunday, January 6 during Library hours. The Library is open Monday Thursday from 9 a.m. 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. 5 p.m., and Sunday 1 5 p.m. The sale features rare, beautiful, funky and fun books dating back to the 19th century. Prices start at 25 cents and rarely exceed $5.00.
