Instant Replay 3, ABMK 0
Instant Replay was led by Logan Mccullough, who recorded 17 strikeouts and allowed just two hits.
Mccullough (double, run scored), Sam Sterman (single, run scored) and Quincy Gregg (single, run scored, 2 RBI) led the offense.
ABMK was led by Matt Fursaro who had 10 strikeouts and a triple. Ryan Ward and Eric Alta-mura each had a hit for ABMK.
Instant Replay 2, ABMK 1
In the rematch that came down to the last out, Instant Replay defeated ABMK, 2-1.
The winners were led by Sterman (run scored, game-winning sac fly), Mccullough (double), Chris Hynd (single), and Ryan Gibb (run scored). Sterman and PJ Duddie combined to allow just one run on five hits with eight strikeouts.
For ABMK, Jimmy Corcoran and JD Marsalisi combined to allow just two runs on two hits with 11Ks. Marsalisi (2 hits), Austin Cagle, Ryan Ward, and Corcoran all had a single.
RMS 4, GAC 2
RMS was led by Matt Sorbara, who pitched a complete game scattering five hits.
For RMS, Matt Fraioli, Paul Battinelli and Mike Meduri led the hitting attack.
For GAC, Patrick Hosinski and Brandon Wheeler each had two hits. Steven Lambrinakos pitched three scoreless innings in relief for GAC.
GAC 10, RMS 1
Brandon Wheeler drove in four runs with two hits and scored three runs. Steven Lambrinakos had a hit and scored three runs.
Patrick Hosinski pitched 4 2/3 innings and gave up two hits and one run with nine strikeouts. Frank Pisano pitched the last inning and a 1/3 without giving up a hit.
GAC was also helped by seven walks.
For RMS Carl Battinelli and Mike Zarrilli each had a hit. Dan Meduri also played well for RMS.
Clairol 7, Carpentry 6
Clairol's offense was led by Filip Szostek (3 hits, game-winning double), Justin Colon (2 hits), Ken Wright, Jack Ferrone and Tyler Serricchio also had hits for Clairol, which scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to pull out the win.
John Somers walked, Kevin Dawkins laid down a bunt and Szostek doubled them in to win the game. Wright struck out 15 and Jack Ferrone picked up the win in relief.
Carpentry's offense was led by RJ Moavero (3 hits, 3 runs scored), Jack Rakoczy (2 hits, 2 RBIs), Brian Powers (2 hits, 2 RBIs), and Matt Christensen, who hit a homer.
Clairol 11, Carpentry 4
In the rematch, Cailrol defeated Carpentry 11-4. Clairol's offense was led by Ken Wright (2 hits, including a home-run), Filip Szostek (2 hits, 4 RBIs), Justin Colon (2 doubles) and John Lombardo (2 hits).
Colon pitched a complete game allowing just six hits. He was helped by two double plays turned by the Clairol defense.
For Carpentry, RJ Moavero led the way with three hits while Jack Rakoczy had two hits and Drew Sama with a single.
The pitching chores were handled by Brian Powers and Steven Browning.
National Lione Little League
Cubs 8, Reds 1
Matthew Caldwell pitched a strong game for his first win. He contributed offensively with two hits (3 RBIs). David Rivera added three hits (triple), Dante Fargnoli and Luis Gonzalez added doubles while Zach Wohlberg led a strong defense at shortstop. Randy Barahona pitched well for the Reds.
Marlins 13, Rockies 0
The Marlins were led by strong pitching from Jack Schwoerer, Billy DeVito and Brian Pollack, who combined for nine strikeouts. DeVito had a triple, a double and two RBIs. Craig Henning had a good defensive game behind the plate and contributed with twp key hits (2 RBIs).
Sean Epp pitched well in another tough loss to the Marlins.
Astros 13, Cubs 12
Cameron Greig had five hits, including his first career home run, three doubles and a single, scoring five times. He pitched a solid game as well.
Matt Hofmann had five hits (4 RBI). Steve Kilburn reached base five times, scoring three runs. Luke Herritt anchored the defense at first base, then came on to pitch stellar in relief. David Rivera led the Reds offensively with 4 hits ( 2 doubles; 4 RBIs).
Reds 8, Diamondbacks 7
Stefano Petrafesa pitched five stong innings to earn the win.
Ryan Lee went 4-for-4 with three doubles and a single. Randy Barhona, Austin Nardi, Danny Meiteles, Jake Atkinson, and Chris Rough each contributed with hits.
Cubs 6, Astros 5
Matthew Caldwell pitched a solid game and Joe Depreta was strong behind the plate for the Cubs. Luis Gonzalez had three hits, David Rivera had a triple, a single and two RBIs, Alex Rojas had a double and an RBI. Joshua Frieser led the defense with a solid game in the outfield.
For the Astros, Matt Hofmann hit a two-run homer to tie the game with two outs in the sixth. Marco Socci pitched five solid innings and contributed with two hits. Kevin Rotkewicz had a hit and a key run scored.
Marlins 22, Rockies 1
Matt Tyrell had three hits (3 RBIs), Brandon Tuccinardi had two doubles (4 RBIs) and Isaiah Ramon contributed with three hits (4 RBIs) to lead the Marlins to victory.
Brian Pollack and Jay DeVito pitched a solid game, combining for eight strikeouts. Ryan Coppola and Corey Evans pitched well in a loss against the Marlins.

Tyrell St.John, Shawn Urbano, Carlo Nieves, Steven Koproski and Jameson Duncan each had multiple hits for the D'Backs. Andrew Krowitz, Stefano Petrafesa, Randy Barhona, and Ryan Lee each had doubles for the Reds.

In a close game, the Marlins won with solid defense and strong pitching by Billy DeVito. Craig Henning and Isaiah Ramon had doubles to score the go- ahead runs. Jalen Brown pitched well for the Cubs. Matthew Caldwell had two doubles,a sacrifice fly and 4 RBIs.

The D-Backs defeated the Rockies 19-9 behind strong pitching of Shawn Urbano and timely hitting of Kieran Duncan, Jameson Duncan and Jay Ibarrondo.
04/22/2008 Astros-6 vs. Reds-5
Cameron Greig pitched 5 solid innings and drove in the winning run with a sac fly. Reuben Diamond contributed with 2 hits and strong relief pitching. Christian Sottosanti played good defense while Steve Kilburn was stellar defensively behind the plate and had 3 hits. For the Reds, Andrew Krowitz pitched a strong game through 5 _ innings with Chris Rough closing out his first game of the season. Ryan Lee hit a triple and double.
04/21/2008 Cubs-4 vs. Marlins-3
Dante Fargnoli pitched a solid game for the Cubs. Fargnoli also had 2 RBIs and the game winning hit. Ben Lavietes, Jaylen Brown and Alex Kalvar played strong defense. Marlin, Jack Schwoerer pitched a strong game with 7 strikeouts and had a key hit in the 6th inning. Brandon Tuccinardi played well behind the plate and pitched one inning in relief for the Marlins.

The Astros had a solid debut pitching performance from Steven Hennessy. Marco Socci pitched 3 solid innings and contributed offensively with key hits. Steve Kilburn and Luke Herritt also had key hits. Chris Rough, Randy Barahona, and Austin Nardi each had key hits for the Reds. Ryan Lee and Stefano Petrafesa, each pitched a strong game.

Andrew Krowitz pitched a complete game for his 1st win and had two key hits, driving in 2 runs. Danny Meitles, Chris Rough, Ryan Lee, and Randy Barhona each had extra base hits. Sean Epp and Tyler Williams pitched well in the defeat. Sean, Michael Tufano, Ryan Coppola, Onyx Velez and Brian Farrell each contributed offensively.

Billy DeVito pitched 4 strong innings for the Marlins. The Marlins' offense was led by Craig Henning with 4 hits while Brian Pollack and Jack Schwoerer each contributed 3 hits. Cameron Greig pitched well for the Astros. Steve Kilburn hit his first career homerun and the first of the NLLL season.

Dante Fargnoli pitched 4 strong innings and Jalen Brown pitched 2 innings in relief for the Cubs. Chris Polidoro, David Rivera and Dante Fargnoli all hit doubles to lead the offense. For the D'Backs Carlos Nieves pitched 4 strong innings (8 k's, 4 hits) while Tyrell St.John had 2 hits.
04/07/2008 Reds-3 vs. Rockies-1
Randy Barahona pitched a solid 5 innings and earned his first win of the season. The REDS started their rally with 2 outs in the top of the 3rd with a Chris Rough walk and stolen base. Ryan Coppola and Onyx Velez each pitched 3 strong innings in a tough opening night loss for the Rockies. The team played strong defensively, turning 2 double plays, which kept the game close.

Jack Schwoerer pitched a solid game for the Marlins. Craig Henning and Isaiah Ramon contributed with key hits. Matt Hofmann had 2 hits and played a solid shortstop in a losing effort. Luke Herritt also contributed offensively and defensively.
