Clairol vs. ABMCK

In a well-played Springdale Little League game that only took 58 minutes, Clairol defeated ABMCK, 2-1. Clairol was led by Ken Wright, who pitched a complete game striking out 14 with no walks.

The offense was led by Justin Colon, who doubled in the first run and homered for the second run. Wright, Jack Ferrone, and Mike Lowe all had hits for Clairol.

For ABMCK, Matt Fusaro pitched a complete game with 7k's and no walks. Fusaro also had the only hit for ABMCK, a triple and scored their only run. Justin Pryzpek and Kevin Acuna also played well for ABMCK.




In the rematch, Clairol scored seven runs in the top of the sixth and defeated ABMCK, 13-4.

Clairol was led by Ken Wright, who went 4-for-4 with a grand slam and 6 RBI. Filip Szostek (2 hits,2 RBI), Mike Lowe (hit, 2 RBI), Johnny Somers (double, 2 runs scored), Jack Ferrone (double) and Kevin Dawkins with a bunt single all contributed to the Clairol attack.

The pitching chores were handled by Justin Colon, who pitched four and two-thirds innings with eight Ks and only one walk. Ferrone got the save, striking out three batters.

For ABMCK, the offense was led by Jimmy Corcoran who went 3-for-3, Eric Altamura (2 hits, 2 runs scored), John Marsalisi (hit, run scored) and Ryan Ward with a triple.

GAC vs. Instant Replay

GAC defeated Instant Replay, 12-6. Brandon Wheeler led the GAC offense going 4-for-4 with a home run and two triples. He scored three runs and had 6 RBI. Steve Lambrinakos (2 hits, 3 runs scored), Brian Franchina (hit, 2 runs scored), and Bobby Alonzi, Patrick Hosinski, and Sam Berkrot all singled for the GAC. The pitching was handled by Hosinski and Frank Pisano, who combined to strike out 11.

For Instant Replay, Logan McCullough led the offense with three hits, including two homers. He scored three runs and had five RBIs. Sam Sterman (on base 3 times, run scored), Jirani Jackson (2 hits, run scored), and Ryan Gibb scored a run. McCullough, Johnny Galatro and PJ Duddie combined to strike out 10.

In a slugfest, the GAC defeated Instant Replay, 20-10. The GAC had 19 hits, including three each from Steven Lambrinakos, Patrick Hosinski, Conor Amann, and Frank Pisano. Brandon Wheeler broke the game open with a grand slam and pitched four innings in relief for the win. Ryan Piersa and Tom Bartlett also had hits for the GAC.

For Instant Replay, the offense was led by Quincy Gregg who hit a home run with 3 rbis and 2 runs scored. Logan McCullough (2 doubles, 2 runs scored, 2 RBI), Sam Sterman (2 runs scored), Jirani Jackson (2 hits), and Tim McMullen with a triple.

Carpentry vs. RMS

In a well played little league game, Carpentry defeated RMS, 3-0. Carpentry was led by Rich Moavero, who pitched a complete-game, three-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts. The offense was led by Moavero and Brian Powers with two hits each.

For RMS, Jack Rakozcy and Steve Browning each had RBI hits while pitching chores were handled by Paul Battinelli and Mike Meduri. Shane Rand also had a good game for RMS.

In the rematch, Carpentry nailed down a 11-4 win over RMS. Carpentry was led by Brian Powers, who pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts. The Carpentry offense was led by Drew Sama (3 hits, double, 2 RBI), Jack Rakozcy (2 doubles), Brian Powers (double, RBI), John Cascio (2 RBI), Zach Karwaski (2 hits) and Matt Christensen (3 RBI). Cascio also had an excellent game defensively.

For RMS, the pitching chores were handled by Paul Battinelli, Matt Sorbora, and Matt Fraioli. Jerry Anderson also had a good game for RMS.
