High School Softball — Westhill wins first City Title since 2001

STAMFORD — Jen Joseph fired a four-hitter, leading the Westhill Vikings to the 2008 City Championship in softball with a 4-0 win over Stamford on Wednesday.
It was the first time Westhill has won the title since 2001.
Kylee Ruther's RBI single and Hannah Goldstone's RBI groundout doubled Westhill's 2-0 lead into a 4-0 advantage in the third inning, giving Joseph and the Vikings control of the game.
